JAMMU, JAMMU & KASHMIR, April 04, 2018 – Kanoda Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. (“Kanoda”), today announced the commissioning of its 83 kW solar rooftop plant on Raj Bhawan (Governor’s House), Jammu in the State of Jammu & Kashmir. The site was visited by Hon’able President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind, honorary dignitaries of the Govt. Press, vendor partners and employees of the Company.
The plant promotes the ‘Make in India’ movement and uses modules explicitly manufactured in India. The 83 kW solar rooftop plant makes use of 252 nos. of 330 Wp PV modules by Sova Solar and 1 no. of 50 kW inverter and 33 kW inverter, each by Sungrow. The plant is expected to generate average 1,36,120 units per year. The project was executed under the leadership of Mr. Sohel Patel, Technical Director – Kanoda in a record time of 7 days with a strong support from Jammu & Kashmir Energy Development Agency (“JAKEDA”).
Dr. Kinjal Jani, MD of Kanoda, said: “This one was a prestigious project and extremely time bound. We are proud of the team pulling it off with such grace. We knew we had a maximum of a week to execute this project right from the design. We encountered challenges that constricted this short span of time even more. Being a Raj Bhawan, you have to acknowledge the constraints that may come with it. After all, it is a high profile project. But the team pulled it all off in time, with precision and grace. We will keep delivering projects with uncompromising quality. Our commitment keeps us at par.”
